👤 Chairman’s Message

Welcome to CDECS – A Value-Driven Development Organization.

CDECS (Centre for Development Communication and Studies) was founded by a collective of academicians, grassroots practitioners, former government advisors, and development professionals. With over 30 years of experience in the field, we have consistently contributed to India’s development sector at both the state and national levels.

As a mission-driven organization, CDECS is committed to delivering sustainable, inclusive, and innovative solutions across the socio-economic, environmental, and infrastructure development sectors. We specialize in empowering communities, stakeholders, and institutions by co-creating strategies that are practical, scalable, and aligned with local realities.

At the heart of our work lies a strong belief: development must be people-centric, sustainable, and driven by real impact. We focus on capacity building, participatory development planning, grassroots training, evidence-based research, and development interventions that improve the quality of life in underserved and marginalized communities.

Our Approach

✅ Human-Centered Development – People are at the core of every intervention
✅ Sustainable Solutions – Long-term impact over short-term results
✅ Collaborative Partnerships – Working with Government, NGOs, CSR bodies, and communities
✅ Aligned with SDGs – Especially in poverty, WASH, education, climate, and infrastructure

water and sanitation, climate action, and infrastructure development.

Since our inception in 1996, we have led numerous impactful projects across India—ranging from training programs and research studies to implementation support for flagship government schemes. Our work has led to the development of affordable, replicable, and community-friendly models that address systemic issues in development.

As an evolving organization, we continue to invest in internal capacity so that we remain ahead of the curve—offering cutting-edge insights, tools, and interventions to our partners and beneficiaries. This has helped us foster long-term, trust-based relationships and enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of development investments.

We remain committed to being a catalyst for change in the sectors we serve—working towards a more equitable, sustainable, and prosperous society.

Thank you for your continued trust and support.

Jai Hind, Jai Bharat.

Warm regards,
R.A. Vijay
