Water and Sanitation Project and Health

The Institution has been pioneer to School Health & Sanitation Project in the State .The Project was supported by UNICEF and Rajasthan Council of Primary Education, GOR.Initially,the project was taken up in 02 districts of state namely Alwar & Tonk.After the successful outcome ,the project has been sacled to all the 32 districts of the state covering all the elementry schools.

We are working in the field of the prevention and control of Flurosis in the State through promoting "Preventive" and "Promotive" inputs.It includes both software and hardware inputs . The Software inputs include trainings on use and maintainance of Activated Alumina(AA) filters,change in food habits , rainwater conservation , and regular check-up of water for fluoride.

Pro Poor city planning

Pro Poor city planning has been carried out by CDECS with support from Directorate of Local bodies & UNICEF in 10 Municipal wards of Jaipur city. Pro- poor planning of Jaipur aimed at city planning in order to prepare a framework of action for development of Pro- Poor group at ward level living in slums/poor clusters.

Combating Malnutrition & Contribute to Child development

Malnutrition is most common in the State of Rajasthan. More than half of the children in the age group of 0-5 years are suffering from malnutrition. Malnutrition limits development and the capacity to learn. It also costs lives. About more than 50 percent of all childhood deaths are attributed to malnutrition.
